Final Fantasy 16 is full of challenging combat and bosses that will put your skills to the test. Leveling up is a time-honored tradition in video games, and few games give the fanfare of a level like Final Fantasy does. Increasing your health, attack, and other stats is that little dopamine hit we all love to get. So, what’s the level cap in Final Fantasy 16? We have the answer for you below.
What is the Max Level in Final Fantasy 16?
In your first playthrough of the game, regardless of if you choose story-focused or action-focused as your difficulty setting, your level cap will be 50. You will not be able to go higher than level 50 until your start a new game plus run on Final Fantasy Mode.
However, reaching level 50 in your first playthrough will be a little tough. It will take doing all of the Hunts, sidequests, and a little bit of grinding.
Once you enter a new game plus your level cap will be increased to 100. All of the experience numbers will drastically increase. You’ll go from getting 140 experience for a small fight to 140,000. Of course, the experience requirement scales as well, but we always love a big number.
