Fire Emblem Three Houses Dining Hall Guide — Sharing Meals
Eating is very much a social affair in Fire Emblem: Three Heroes. Sharing meals is something that you can choose to do with two other students, and there are some far-reaching effects beyond purely increasing the support levels between the students individually and yourself. Sharing meals with your students will improve the bonds between them (rank up their support relationship), improve their bonds with you, and also increase their motivation level. Improving your students’ motivation level will let you increase the frequency of their sessions when you’re Lecturing them, which leads to more opportunities for improving your support rank and also their skills.
One thing to be careful about when you’re picking your chosen students to catch a bite with is whether or not they’re going to actually get along. Your students are only human, which means that certain personality types are going to rub each other the wrong way. If you’re particularly invested in growing relationships between yourself and a student from another House, for example, then you’re going to want to be careful not to jeopardize that by sitting everyone down for an awkward dinner.
When choosing your meal guests wisely, you should also keep in mind the progress of any existing support relationships between members of your squad. Sharing meals is an excellent way to boost a relationship, but there isn’t much point getting two bosom buddies to sit through the ordeal. Be smart about time management, and focus on budding support relationships between characters to get the most bang for your buck.
