There is a great deal of excitement currently brewing in the Fortnite Battle Royale community thanks to the impending arrival of Chapter 2 – Season 2 this week. As with previous seasons, Epic Games has begun to provide teasers to the community to create excitement and give players a sneak peek at what this new period of content will entail. One of the most significant teasers that Epic Games has provided for the second season of Chapter 2 consists of a Gold themed teaser that has plenty of fan theories circulating in the community. Fortunately, we have everything currently known about this Gold teaser covered for you.
Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 Gold Teaser
These particular teasers consisted of Epic Games changing the header and profile image for the official Twitter account of the battle royale title. The profile picture is now a Gold capital F with the header image teaser being a Gold handprint over the image of two skins that were available through this season’s Fortnite Battle Pass. You can see this teaser in its current form in the photo below:
Now, some players believe that this update social media profile is hinting at some “Agency” that is planning something significant for the island and that it will consist of it being covered in the valuable metal or gold-themed. However, there has not been any concrete information regarding exactly what these teasers mean. Furniture covered in the expensive metal has also been spotted on the map of the battle royale game in what could be a sign of what is to come in the future.
There is no doubt that there is a vast multitude of players who are anxiously awaiting to find out what this Gold teaser for the second season of Chapter 2 means and what it will be bringing to players when the new period of content launches this week.
