Thursday, February 20th, is going to be an exhilarating day in the Fortnite Battle Royale community with the arrival of the second season of Chapter 2. This new period of content will be dishing out a variety of things for players to experience and enjoy, which players hope to see detailed in patch notes for the highly anticipated update. However, the way that Epic Games handled the patch notes for Chapter 2 – Season 1 update has left many curious as to whether or not detailed information will be provided this time around. Fortunately, we have all of the currently known information about the patch notes for the new update covered for you.
Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 Update Patch Notes
We will update this piece with the Fortnite update patch notes for the second season of the title’s second chapter if they are made available by Epic Games or any information related to the new changes.

Now, Epic Games did not release a full set of patch notes for the first season’s update and left all of the new additions mysterious to help foster an exciting period of discovery for the community. However, this was a far cry from the way that changes were revealed from past seasons and left plenty of players confused regarding exactly what was changed. Epic Games went on to finally release patch notes throughout the season for the following updates, but these were much smaller than ones from previous seasons.
Players will have to wait and see until Thursday, February 20th, to find out if Epic Games decided to do away with how they handled update patch notes from the previous period of content and went back to their former ways for the second season of the game’s second chapter.
Massive updates like the one expected for February 20th usually take place in the early morning hours around 4 AM EST, so those wanting to be one of the first to see what has been changed in Fortnite will have to be awake very early to do so.
