However, Epic Games recently revealed that its high-profile battle royale title of Fortnite would be getting the fan-favorite feature in the new 11.30 update. The Fortnite split screen feature can be utilized in the duos and squads playlists. Players now can play with one another on the same Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, it does not look like PC received the new split screen feature for Fortnite.
According to the official blog post detailing the addition, it is an early release, and Epic Games wants players to report bugs via the in-game feedback tool to help them improve the feature heading into the future.
Now, you will be able to share a couch with your loved ones when you are trying to chase a Victory Royale and some highlight moments that you will remember for some time. There are sure to be plenty of players trying out the new way to play for the foreseeable future.
