How to Get the Boogie Down Emote for Free

Normally to score an emote, you’d have to unlock it in the Battle Pass or purchase it using V-bucks from the store. Right now, though, you can get the Boogie Down emote for absolutely free. All you’ve got to do is make your Epic Games account a bit more secure and add in Two-Factor Authentication.

If you don’t know what two-factor authentication is, then allow us to educate you just a little bit. Basically, two-factor authentication requires you to use a code that you acquire after you try to log into your account. This creates an extra layer of security that can use your phone number, an authenticator application, or even your email to make sure nobody is trying to get access to your account without your permission. Any logins or changes made to your account are noted immediately, and you’ll be notified easily so you can fix any issues that might come up.

It’s a feature that a lot of people take advantage of—especially in this day and age when your account can go missing overnight—but Epic is trying to convince more players to make use of the security system to protect their accounts by offering up a free Fortnite emote for signing up. It’s a nice little incentive to get more users to make their accounts more secure, and you should take advantage of the opportunity if you haven’t already—if for no other reason than to add another sweet emote to your collection.
