God of War Ragnarok has officially dropped its 2.02 update, so here’s everything that was changed and added with this patch. Today’s update is a little weird as we’ll differentiate, but there’s one PS5 version note alongside a heap of PS4 notes. There are also a handful of localization changes for Polish speakers, so if you happen to be Polish, this should be a welcome inclusion. Otherwise, nothing too exciting but still a welcome set of changes. Without further ado, here’s everything new with God of War Ragnarok in its 2.02 update.
God of War Ragnarok Update 2.02 All Changes
PS5 Specific
- Service adjustments.
PS4 Specific
Stability and Performance
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur at the end of the first boss fight.
- Already fixed for PS5 in patch v02.01
- Fixed a crash that could appear randomly during gameplay.
- Already fixed for PS5 in patch v02.01
- Fixed a crash when using the Platinum Wireless Headset.
- Issue not applicable for PS5.
Polish Language Support
- Added Polish language audio support for players that purchased the game on disc in Poland.
- Note: Please ensure that the game is fully installed from the disc or network and patched to version 2.02 before enabling Polish language in the Speech Language settings.
- If the game is not fully installed there will be no audio or subtitles for the in-game dialog.
- To correct, please close the app and restart once the game is fully installed and the patch install is complete.
As said, not a whole lot to talk about here. Some fixes here and there for different crashes, some “service adjustments” for PS5, and finally Polish language support. This should be what you expect though, as God of War Ragnarok is likely to not get any major patches from here on out.
