The upcoming Grounded Fully Yoked Update was officially announced by Obsidian with the release date of April 16. The 1.4 Update will be a major revamp in many ways, and there will be plenty of new additions as well. Here’s everything coming in the Grounded Fully Yoked update.
Grounded Fully Yoked Update – Ant Queens
What’s an ant colony without its queen? It seems that Obsidian asks the same question as well, as all three colonies will have their own Queen. Players will be able to meet them and decide if they want to be an ally or an enemy. Their decision-making will have an impact on how the colonies will treat them as well. Hence, players will have to make some crucial decisions along the way.
Grounded Fully Yoked Update – New Game+ Mode
A New Game+ mode is also now in the works which will be great news for the veterans. This mode can only be accessed after beating the bosses, and players can also choose to jump into the REMIX.R. This mode will offer significantly harder challenges for the players to encounter, including different anomalies and hidden secrets.
In the REMIX.R, all creatures will be different from their basic nature, making them harder to tackle. However, players won’t be alone in this fight, and they will have different trinkets to help them along the way. Additionally, the Yoking Station can also be used by the players to upgrade their weapons to tackle these harder enemies.
Grounded Full Yoked Update – Features
- Hosts can now load a save while in the middle of a multiplayer session and all connected players will seamlessly transition into the new game world.
- Full Japanese Voice Overs: Immerse yourself completely with full Japanese voice-overs, covering everything from the teen characters to BURG.L, cutscenes, and audio logs. Simply enable this feature from the Game Options menu.
- The 1.4 update adds four new achievements, one new mutation, twelve Ant Queen-related buildings, new baby ant pets, and so much more we can’t list here!
- Cross-play will be supported across Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The Full Yoked update will go live on April 16 across all platforms. As of writing, new players can pre-order their copies to jump right into it when all the new content is released.
