You’ll face off against Maexxna, the final boss of the Arachnid Quarter. Upon defeating Maexxna, you obtain two of the Anub’ar Ambusher cards. The main strategy of the deck you’ve been given is to essentially rush down Maexxna and use her hero power against her. Maexxna’s hero power gives her the ability to return one of your minions to your hand. If your deck had been filled with cards that require buffing or some sort of enrage to be effective, Maexxna’s hero power would severely hinder your cards. Instead, this deck consists almost entirely of cards that have Battlecry or Combo effects.

With a large number of Battlecry and Combo effect cards, and two Anub’ar Ambusher cards, you can breeze through this battle with relative ease. Almost every time Maexxna uses her hero power, she’ll allow you to use the Battlecry and Combo effects of that card over again. It may get a bit tedious playing the same cards multiple turns in a row, but each time you’ll add more and more damage to Maexxna, getting closer to a win or healing yourself again and again.

The only cards you really need to watch out for are Maexxna’s Sea Giants. Aside from a single Big Game Hunter card, you don’t have much that will deal with a Sea Giant effectively. Save your Big Game Hunter for the first Sea Giant. Hopefully by the time the second Sea Giant appears you’ll be close enough to winning that you won’t have to deal with it. If that’s not the case, you may need to sacrifice a few cards to deal with the Sea Giant before it becomes a problem.
