With the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken players have new areas to explore and new items to gather. One of the new things that players have to look forward to as well is the new Cryo-Pod Public Event in Destiny 2. This is a great way for players to interact with others, earn new loot, and pick up new items. If you really want to get the most out of it, you’re going to need to learn how to activate the Heroic Cryo-Pod Public Event in Destiny 2, which we will outline below.
How to Trigger the Heroic Cryo-Pod Public Event
If you want to turn the Cryo-Pod Public Event into a Heroic Public Event, then you’re going to need to follow a few simple instructions. First, destroy the caps on the side of the cell and throw the cores at the prisoner. These caps must be broken at certain points during the first, more specifically, whenever the ground around the pod becomes covered in electricity.
When this happens, look for the cap that has steam blasting out of it and destroy it. This will release a core. Run up, grab it and then throw it at the prisoner. You’ll need to repeat this process two times in order to freeze the prisoner and move on.
When you have frozen the prisoner, the Heroic version of the Cryo-Pod Public Event will trigger. From here, players will need to stand close to the prisoner and defend it against waves of enemies that come to destroy it. When the prisoner has been recaptured, the Heroic Public Event will complete, and players will begin to receive their rewards, which they can pick up from the chest that spawns.
