Shadow of the Colossus has plenty of little things for players to find throughout the game world, including some Easter Eggs that give nice nods to the other game’s that the developers have worked on. While it came out after the original version of Shadow of the Colossus, Bluehole—the developers for the latest remaster—have put together a nice Easter Egg for The Last Guardian in Shadow of the Colossus, and we’re going to show you how to find that Easter Egg today.
Where to Find the Last Guardian Easter Egg
The nice thing about this Easter Egg is that you can locate it at any point during your time in Shadow of the Colossus. To easily find this Easter Egg, though, we’d suggest waiting until you head out to face the sixth Colossus, as it will be found inside the woods that you need to travel through.
If you are traveling from the main shrine, look at your map and locate the forward in the E5 area of the map. Head towards this area and then follow the path until you reach a fork in the road. At the form, turn to the right and it should lead you to a cave that heads down into the ground. It’s easier to find the cave entrance if you aren’t riding Argo.
Once you find the cave, head inside and move to the left. Look around for several formations in the cave and listen closely for a jingle through the speaker on your controller. There’s a hidden coin here that you’ll want to grab if you want to 100% the game, so you might as well grab it right now.
After grabbing the hidden coin, continue walking into the cave and make your way to the far corner inside. Here you should see a small barrel that looks eerily similar to the barrels that you have to feed your companion in The Last Guardian. Walk close to the barrel and you will earn the Boon of the Nomad trophy, adding it to your list of accomplishments in the game.
