Diablo 4’s campaign experience is broken up into different bits and pieces or acts as some like to call them. This helps to keep individual stories to themselves, while also having them connect to the larger narrative surrounding Lilith. Depending on where you are in the main story, you may be wondering how many acts you can expect to work through while playing. Here’s how many acts there are in Diablo 4.
How Many Acts Do You Have to Play Through to Complete Diablo 4?
In total, there are eight acts in Diablo 4. The first is a prologue, while the final act is the epilogue, otherwise, all in between are different acts. Those acts and their names are as follows:
- Prologue: Wandering
- Act 1: A Cold and Iron Faith
- Act 2: The Knife Twists Again
- Act 3: The Making of Monsters
- Act 4: A Gathering Storm
- Act 5: Secrets Bartered, Fates Sold
- Act 6: Dance of the Makers
- Epilogue: From the Wound Spilled
These acts will take you all across Sanctuary, meeting new people as you work to figure out what Lilith is planning and put an end to it. You’ll visit the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, the Dry Steppes, Hawezar, and finally Kejitstan.
How Long Does it Take to Complete All Acts of Diablo 4?
In total, you should expect Diablo 4 to take around 35 hours to complete. It will likely be much faster if you’re speedrunning your way through the game, but you can expect it to be roughly that long. That time is mainly spread across seven of the eight acts, with Act 4 being considerably shorter as it gears you up for the endgame of Acts 5 and 6. All in all, plenty of content worth sinking your teeth into.
