The Outlast Trials are the latest release from Red Barrels, a continuation of the Outlast franchise, but with a multiplayer spin to it. True, there is not much lore or story to this game, compared to the critically-acclaimed predecessors, but let’s be real, we are in it to play the multiplayer mode. The natural question is: How many players can you play The Outlast Trials with and what is the maximum team size in the game? Prima Games is here to answer, as always.
What is the Team Size in The Outlast Trials Multiplayer?
In The Outlast Trials, you will be able to play the game alone if you want (just putting that out there, the game is not limited to Multiplayer) or with up to three other players. This then allows each Team in The Outlast Trials to have a maximum of four players that can play the trials together. I personally think that this is the golden number for a team in such a game. Five would be too much chaos, and three would be too few. Sure, as mentioned, you can play solo, with one friend, or with two friends if you don’t have the full squad, but the game will be a bit more difficult and there will be less room for error.
With your team of fearless horror game players, you will be able to pass multiple different Trials (the community expects a lot more to be added down the line).
