How to Sell Gold Bars

Gold Bars can be found in a multitude of places—on enemies, in safes, and even by completing things like the poisonous trail treasure quest. No matter where you find them, though, knowing where to get rid of them will be the most crucial information.

Like most stolen goods, Gold Bars can only be sold at a Fence. These are vendors that can be found all around the map in Red Dead Redemption 2. Like other vendors in the game, players can purchase various items from them—items of the illegal sort—as well as sell specific items to them. You can find Fences in most of the major cities in Red Dead Redemption 2, including Saint Denis. It doesn’t matter which Fence you take the Gold Bars to, as they will always sell for the same price.

Selling a Gold Bar to a Fence will net you 500 dollars per bar, making Gold Bars one of the best ways to make a lot of money very quickly. The only trouble here is getting your hands on them. As we said before, though, there are a number of ways to find them, and you’ll even come across them as you complete main and side missions within the world.
