BitLife has many job options for varying industries, pay ranges, and education requirements. You can get a part-time job or two or enter university and pursue a medical degree. You can even become a famous musician or a professional sports star if that’s what you prefer. However, for some challenges and achievements, you’ll have to work your way up to a psychiatrist position. How to Become a Psychiatrist in BitLife
Before jumping right into things, it’s important to note that a psychiatrist differs from roles like a surgeon, family physician or school psychologist. It is its own independent career path, but you may run into junior and regular versions of the job. We’ll get more into that later, though!

With all that said, it’s time to work toward becoming a psychiatrist in BitLife! To start, create a character and age up until they graduate secondary school. Make sure you avoid dropping out or getting a criminal record beforehand, or every job offer will be denied instantly.

- Enrol in medical school
- Apply for a psychiatrist job!
Apply to University for a Psychology Degree
After graduation, apply to university and choose psychology as your major. While others may work, this is the one I choose every time, and it has yet to fail me. If you don’t see it in the list, age up your character or close and reopen the BitLife app! Apply to university and complete your four years to move on to the next step!
How to Enter Medical School in BitLife
Once you graduate from university, it’s time for medical school! As a psychiatrist, you’re required to complete eight years in medical school before pursuing the role, so make sure you have enough time and funds for that. Just head back into the list of schools and pick medical school; the process is almost identical to university. Well, except for the massive tuition fee.

How to Apply For a Psychiatrist Job in BitLife
At least, it’s time to become a psychiatrist! Head into the full-time job list and look through it until you see either a psychiatrist or Jr. Psychiatrist role. In the picture below, I found a Jr. Psychiatrist job and applied before they accepted the offer. This also counts towards challenges, but you can work hard in this role to eventually get promoted to a regular psychiatrist.
