How to Find Gimmighoul Chest Form in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Gimmighoul will spawn in two different forms in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Its first form can be found standing in random spots such as signs or rocks. You cannot catch this form of Gimmighoul, however, it will grant you 1-10 Gimmighoul Coins when interacted with.
Gimmighoul’s other form is its Chest Form, which you are able to catch. Though its spawning mechanics can be a little confusing.
Gimmighoul spawn locations are guaranteed, which means if you go to their location, they will definitely be there. Detailed below are a few Gimmighoul spawn locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Gimmighoul Spawn Locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
One of the easier Gimmighouls to catch is located to the West of Artazon on top of a tall tower. It’s hard to miss it.
At the top of this tower will be a chest. Players looking for rare loot will be disappointed to discover that this chest is actually a Gimmighoul.
Simply interact with this chest and Gimmighoul will pop up, starting a battle. After catching it, you will receive a large sum of Gimmighoul Coins.
Another Gimmighoul spawn location is in the Northern region of the Asado desert. In this area, you will find scattered ruins in which a Gimmighoul resides.
This Gimmighoul will be at a higher level than the one shown above, so be prepared to battle!
Some players report that Gimmighoul will respawn in these same locations after catching, however you may have to wait a day for it to appear again.
