When you get started in Skull and Bones, your captain will look like he was stranded on an island with Wilson for weeks. Every good captain needs to look his best, and this guide is here to help you change your clothes.
How to Change Your Outfit in Skull and Bones
Head to the Vanity Atelier vendor in Sainte-Anne to change your clothes. The vanity is marked by a standing mirror icon on the map and is also part of the main questline if you wait long enough to change your look. Each major settlement should have at least one vanity vendor to make use of, but Sainte-Anne is the easiest to access early on.
When you enter the Vanity Atelier, there is a merchant you can talk to. Florentine d’Alesso will give you an option to purchase items or to change your physical appearance. Even if you don’t plan on making a purchase, you want to pick the buying option. This opens up all the clothing that you can buy in Skull and Bones along with your full collection.
If you already have some clothing unlocked, simply select the item you want and it will be marked by a yellow check. All of your unlocked clothes will appear on the list first, followed by items you can purchase with silver or the premium store currency. At the start of the game, you’re going to be very low on cosmetic options, and that’s without thinking of materials like Acacia.
How to Unlock More Clothes in Skull and Bones
Complete contracts or spend silver at the Vanity Atelier to earn some new cosmetic options for your Captain. There are a handful of decent clothing styles you can earn as you ravage the high seas for different contract handlers. But if you don’t want to wait, you can also just spend some real cash in the Ubisoft store.
Once you’re all geared up in some fresh pirate clothes, start tracking down fish to feed your crew.
