BitLife: Oz Challenge Walkthrough
There are five tasks you must complete for the Oz challenge in BitLife:
- Be born a female in Kansas
- Emigrate to Australia
- Make 3+ friends while living in Australia
- Murder a female in Australia
- Emigrate back to the United States

How to Be Born a Female in Kansas
To be born in Kansas in BitLife, select female as your starting gender, the United States as your country, and Wichita as your place. While the obvious answer may look like “Kansas City” at first, this does not work, as it is a city in Missouri. Instead, Wichita is the right call, as it is the most populous city in Kansas state.
Once you create your character, age until you’re ready to emigrate to Australia. Keep your criminal record clean for now, as it’ll be much harder to leave if you’re sent to jail. Remember this for later!
How to Emigrate to Australia in BitLife
To emigrate from Kansas to Australia in BitLife:
- Go to Activities and select Emigrate.
- Search for Australia in the list, closing and reopening the menu if it doesn’t appear immediately.
- Once it appears, gain approval to emigrate and pay the fee to move to Australia!

Make sure to emigrate to Australia before retirement age, as it gets much harder to befriend people who are unemployed or not in school.
Making Friends and Murdering in Australia
There are two main ways to make friends in BitLife: befriending classmates and coworkers. If you emigrate to Australia after high school, you can befriend university classmates. If you’ve already graduated from university or don’t wish to attend one, you can get a job and befriend your coworkers.
Throughout your life, you’ll also encounter friend requests. However, this is entirely luck-based, so it’s difficult to rely on this for the challenge.
Once you’re ready to get your hands dirty, head to Activities and select Crime. Pick Murder, and choose any female on your list. It can be your parent, friend, or even a supervisor. It’s entirely up to you, but if you want to increase your odds of success, go for someone whom you’re not closely attached to. You’ll also want to pick a method like drive-by or poison, as these two have the highest chances of succeeding.
After pulling off the murder attempt successfully, it’s time to return to the United States.
How to Emigrate to the United States in BitLife
When you’re ready to return home, head to the Emigrate menu and search for the United States. If you got away with murder without getting caught, this should be easy, as long as you have the funds to pay for the ticket home. If you were caught, the US will likely deny your request, forcing you to emigrate illegally. Don’t worry; doing this still counts as a success for the challenge.
Once you return to the United States after your adventures in Australia, you’ll officially finish the Oz Challenge in BitLife!
