Below are the tasks you must complete for the Raving Lunar-tic challenge in BitLife:

  • Be born in Oregon.
  • Become an astronaut.
  • Drink at the club 5+ times.
  • Maintain an alcohol addiction.
  • Retrieve 2+ Lunar artifacts while addicted to alcohol.

To finish this challenge, you must own the astronaut special career pack, which you can purchase individually from the in-game BitLife marketplace or obtain as part of the game’s Boss Mode feature. Either way, you must pay real money to get this pack and participate in this week’s challenge.

How to Be Born in Oregon in BitLife

To begin the Raving Lunar-tic challenge, create a new character whose starting country is the United States and whose starting place is in Portland. Your starting gender and stats do not matter as long as you begin in Portland, as this is Oregon’s largest city.

How to Become an Astronaut in BitLife

Once you create your character, age up until your character graduates from high school. After graduation, apply for university and pick any STEM degree to study. Some examples you can pursue include engineering or mathematics.

After graduating with your STEM degree, your next step is obtaining a pilot’s license. Doing this involves taking 40 hours of flight school classes before taking a test based on real-world piloting facts and questions. Finish this to move on to the last step of becoming an astronaut.

Lastly, your character must enter the Space Academy through the astronaut special career menu. Apply for this program and actively participate in your fitness, flight, and technical training to increase your performance and graduate from the academy, making you eligible to become an official astronaut.

Make sure to work hard every year to gain promotions as an astronaut. The final objective requires reaching the Major rank, so you’ll need a few years to reach this before finishing the challenge.

How to Drink at the Club and Develop an Addiction

Now that you’ve become an astronaut, it’s time to party at some nightclubs. Head into Activities > Nightlife and go to clubs until you’re offered alcoholic drinks five times. Accept the offers until you have five drinks and develop an alcohol addiction.

Ideally, your character will develop the addiction before finishing their fifth drink. However, if this doesn’t happen, continue visiting nightclubs until they get the addiction to finish both tasks in one go. Make sure you don’t tackle the addiction immediately, as the final task requires you to have it.

How to Retrieve Lunar Artifacts

Unlocking lunar missions and artifacts requires reaching the Major rank as an astronaut. Go on space missions and conduct research as often as possible to gain a promotion to this rank before going on a Lunar exploration mission. Once you complete it, there’s a chance you’ll obtain an artifact that appears in your discoveries menu.

However, since this isn’t guaranteed, you may have to repeat this for a few years until you find one.

Since your character is also combating an alcohol addiction, you’ll want to make sure you keep your health as high as possible, so they don’t develop other medical issues or pass away. While other complications might still happen, going to the gym, taking walks, and regularly visiting the doctor when new ailments appear can help lower your odds.

Once you become an astronaut, have some fun at nightclubs, and find your lunar artifact, you’ll complete the Raving Lunar-tic challenge in BitLife.
