How to Create a Moon in Animal Crossing New Horizons
So, if you remember gallivanting around your deserted island in the dark of the night, then you may have run into a few interesting characters. For one, there’s Wisp the ghost, who gives you a bunch of things to fetch (like parts of himself that he poops out because he’s scared, and no we’re not joking. If you need a hand on how to help him, check out this whole other guide that we’ve prepped for you here. You may have also noticed while wandering around that you’ve bumped into Celeste, Blathers’ sister. She very kindly hands out a DIY recipe for a Magic Wand, which lets you change outfits (more on that here), but she can also hand out DIY recipes for other things, including the moon.
Yeah, that’s not a typo. If you get the DIY recipe for it, you can make a moon in Animal Crossing New Horizons and add a really nice touch to your surroundings. To create a moon in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you’re going to need the following items:
- 15 Star Fragments
- 1 Large Star Fragment
The only way that you can get those star fragments is to wish on falling stars, and you do that by pressing the up key and A on your Switch when you see a falling star kick in overhead at night. Getting a Large Star Fragment is a matter of luck unlike regular star fragments, so you might need a few nights to get all the ingredients to craft your moon.
