The Hoarding Bug is one of the most common monsters that you will come across in the game. You might be wondering why they act all creepy and how you can deal with them. Well, we have an answer for that in this guide.
How to Defeat Hoarding Bugs in Lethal Company
You can deal with the Hoarding Bugs in Lethal Company in multiple ways. Once you encounter them inside the facility, they will lead you to the loot they are hoarding. Like the players that are searching the planet for scrap, Hoarding Bugs also collect scrap and guard them as their own. Once you follow the bug to their loot, you can either try to steal their loot or keep your distance from them.
If you decide to get close to the loot Hoarding Bugs are protecting, they will start attacking you. The only choice you will have is to kill them by hitting them with a melee weapon like a Shovel or a Sign Post or run out of the facility. They are much faster in speed than the players, so outrunning them inside the facility will not be the safest option.
You can also drop one of the items from the inventory you are carrying. They will take away your item and go back to their spot.
It is up to you if you want to engage with the Hoarding Bugs to grab that extra loot. It is better to take them on with friends rather than go solo. You can quickly kill them with three to four hits from a melee weapon. These are the only monsters in the game you can kill without stressing too much.
The Hoarding Bugs only protect their loot from the players and attack when you get close to it. They will become aggressive if you stay in their area or get too close. When aggressive, they will start flying towards you and attack you. If you get hit by them, you will gradually bleed till you die.
