Earning Tomestones of Causality

Once reaching level 90 with your preferred job and completing the Endwalker MSQ, multiple options will be available for you to earn Tomestones of Causality. Some of the best ways are:

Duty Roulette

Completing your daily duty roulettes is one of the most reliable ways to earn Tomestones of Causality. As long as you participate in them on a level 90 job, you’ll earn the tomestones upon completion.

Trials, Normal Raids, Alliance Raids

Completing most level 90 duties will reward a small amount of Tomestones of Causality. For the sake of spoilers, we won’t call all of these duties by name.

  • Level 90 MSQ Trial – 5 Tomestones of Causality
  • EX Trial 1 – 8 Tomestones of Causality
  • EX Trial 2 – 8 Tomestones of Causality
  • EX Trial 3 – 10 Tomestones of Causality
  • Aglaia (Alliance Raid) – 20 Tomestones of Causality
  • Asphodelos Normal Raids – 5 Tomestones of Causality
  • Asphodelos Savage Raids – 15 Tomestones of Causality

PVP

If dungeons and raids aren’t your thing and you’d rather beat up on other Warriors of Light, various PVP modes also offer Tomestones of Causality.

  • Crystalline Conflict – 10 Tomestones of Causality
  • Frontline – 20 Tomestones of Causality
  • Rival Wings – 20 Tomestones of Causality

Wondrous Tails, Treasure Maps, and More

Many other activities in Final Fantasy XIV will reward you with Tomestones of Causality, like the weekly Wondrous Tails books, Treasure Map dungeons, and more.

Tomestones of Causality have a weekly cap of 450 earned per week, and players can only hold a total of 2,000 Tomestones at any given time. Make sure you earn yours while you can, and then pay Cihanti a visit in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.8, Y: 10.3) to exchange them for the new iLevel 620 gear.
