Diablo 4 is mostly about improving your character through individual item power, stat boosts, aspects, and weapons to make them the most powerful character the game has ever seen. When you’re not deleting hordes of foes though, ensuring your character’s outfit is up to that standard is important. You’ll need to change your cosmetics to do that though. Here’s how to equip cosmetics in Diablo 4.
How to Change Your Gear Appearance in Diablo 4
To change your appearance, you’ll want to head to a Wardrobe located in any of the major cities across Sanctuary. There’s one for each major region, including Kyovashad for the Fractured Peaks, Cerrigar for Scosglen, Ked Bardu for the Dry Steppes, Gea Kul for Kehjistan, and Zarbinzet for Hawezar. At these locations, you’re looking for a Wardrobe that’s located next to the Stash, a small chest on the map made for storing any Gems or gear you want to keep for a later date.
Once at this Wardrobe, interact with it and you’ll be brought to a menu with all the cosmetics for each category that you currently have available. The categories include Helm, Chest, Gloves, Pants, and Boots, with categories for your weapons and a Back Trophy. Simply click on one of the categories, select the cosmetic that you think looks best, then save to save your changes. You can even have multiple appearance sets saved, should you want to switch between them.

How Do You Get More Cosmetics in Diablo 4?
You can acquire more cosmetics in Diablo 4 in several different ways. The first is through salvaging new gear you find on your adventures. The pieces of gear that unlock new looks on salvage are noted by a Pickaxe symbol on that individual piece of gear. Take those to a Blacksmith and salvage them to find the look in your Wardrobe. The other methods involve getting cosmetics from Twitch drops or buying cosmetics through the in-game store. Cosmetics will always be found in that Wardrobe.
