You may have also caught Fletchling early in the game and are now wondering how to evolve it. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to evolve Fletchling into Fletchinder in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Evolve Fletchling Into Fletchinder in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Fletchling has three forms total, beginning at Fletchling and ending with Talonflame. In between is its evolution to Fletchinder, starting at level 17. While you won’t need any additional items or other requirements, you’ll still have to spend some time grinding experience points. Below are a few methods you can use to accomplish this:
- Fight Pokemon in traditional battles. You can also fight Overworld trainers or enemies like Gym Leaders for large amounts of EXP.
- Auto-battle Pokemon in the Overworld using the R button on your controller. Doing this will send out the Pokemon in your first party slot. While this gives less experience per battle, the battles are much faster.
- Use EXP Candies for instant experience boosts. (Bag > Other Items > EXP Candies)
Your Fletchling will automatically evolve into Fletchinder once it reaches level 17!
