Pupitar, this weird little silver cocoon-looking guy, is the evolved form of Larvitar. To evolve Pupitar, you’ll need to train and level it up to 55. At level 55, Pupitar will evolve into Tyranitar, a fan-favorite Pokemon from Gold and Silver.

It’s not an easy road to level up to 55 and will likely take you a bit. However, there are a few ways to speed up this process if you’re trying to grind it out.

First off, once you’ve progressed far enough in the gym challenge storyline, you’ll be given the Lucky Egg item. This item can be given to a Pokemon to hold and when they are holding it, all experience gained is increased.

You can also use EXP Candies obtained from Tera Raid battles to level up your Pupitar quickly. These candies come in various sizes and can give up to 30K XP in a single candy.
