Digtoise is a great Pal to catch in Palworld to improve your mining operations and farm ore during your playthrough. Here’s how to find and catch Digtoise, alongside an overview of its stats.
Where to Find Digtoise in Palworld
Digtoise is found in warmer climates, particularly in Palworld’s northern desert regions. I first encountered Digtoise in the desert at coordinates (-141, -132), near where you find the Anubis field boss, but you can also spot this Pal in the massive desert north of Marsh Island.
You may find Digtoise in other locations as you travel around Palworld’s map. However, at the very least, you’re almost guaranteed to find this Pal in these two locations.
How to Catch Digtoise in Palworld
Like most Pals, the easiest way to catch Digtoise is to damage the Pal as much as possible before throwing your Pal Sphere and hoping for some good luck. At this point in your playthrough, you likely won’t have much luck with a regular Pal Sphere and will have to use a Mega or Giga version.
While you shouldn’t need much more than this, it’s good to have extras on hand just in case.
To improve your odds further, you can also search around the map for Lifmunk Effigies to enhance your capture power, making it easier for your character to catch any Pal.
Digtoise Stats, Type, and Work Suitability in Palworld
Digtoise is a ground-type Pal with level-three mining work suitability. When caught or defeated, it can drop ore and high-quality Pal oil, giving you another source of these resources if needed. It also has the Drill Crusher partner skill, a spinning shell attack allowing Digtoise to follow you and mine ores more efficiently.
