There are certain Pals that you know will be a hit. Daedream is one of those Pals, and you can find it early on in your journey in Palworld.
How to Find Daedream in Palworld – Exact Location
I’ll admit it, I love Daedream. The moment I captured it, I made a beeline to my base so I could create a collar for it, essentially making it my permanent companion. And while Dark types don’t have significant utility on the battlefield, there’s nothing more charming than Daedream’s devious face.
There are multiple ways to get Daedream. You can hunt for it in the wild near the Grassy Behemoth Hills waypoint. But, like most Dark types, Daedream only appears at night. Near this waypoint, there are two spawns. One close to the church in the north, and one to the south, just behind the waypoint.
These spawns are always Dark types, though there’s no telling if you’ll run into Daedream, Depresso, or Hoocrates. If you don’t encounter Daedream here, don’t worry – you’re not out of options.
The easiest way to capture Daedream is to hunt for it in dungeons. Dungeons appear randomly around the map and look like gaping caverns you can find as you explore the world. These dungeons are usually short, offering only a few chambers. But they consistently have Daedream and Maus within, making them the best place to not only catch Daedreams but farm Venomous Glands.
The hardest way to get Daedream is through Dark Eggs. I’ve managed to get a Daedream once through this method, but it’s the most unreliable.
I’ve found Dark Eggs at the coordinates 134, 94 and 74, -513. However, there’s no guarantee that you’ll find an egg there, too.

How to Craft Daedream Necklace in Palworld
Once you have a Daedream, you can spend a technology point to craft the Daedream’s Necklace at the Pal Gear Workbench. This will allow you to have Daedream out of its ball permanently. While it’s like this, it can attack along with you and the other Pal you send out, giving you a significant boost in battle.
However, you can also command Daedream to not attack or to focus its attack on who you’re attacking through the pet command wheel. You can check your settings and game options to determine which button will open the pet command window. For Xbox, press in the right joystick. For PC, press 4.
