Before it was released, it has been announced that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands would feature full crossplay on every console and PC that the game is available on. This is due to the new Shift matchmaking system that Gearbox has implemented in the game. Sometimes you lose connection and receive the “Connection lost” error. Here’s how to fix it.
How to Fix Connection Lost Error in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
There are a few different reasons this error can occur, and while some of them are easy to fix, there is one that is not fixable on the user’s end and it’s important to know if you’re dealing with this problem. If you receive this error the first thing you want to do is check the Shift Twitter account to see if it’s on their end, if Shift matchmaking services are down, you won’t be able to use online features until they have fixed it.
However, if everything is fine on their end and then it’s most likely a problem on your end. This can be solved by making sure you’re connected to the internet. If you’re still having issues first try closing the app entirely and re-opening it, we’ve found this helps in most situations.
If you’re still experiencing problems we recommend restarting your router and if you’re running on wi-fi either disconnect other devices using it or hardwire an ethernet port into your console if that is feasible for your setup.
