How to Fix Low FPS Issues in Warzone Increase FPS Guide

How to Increase FPS in Warzone?

First and foremost, check the graphics settings. If you are not sure how much your hardware can handle, always use the recommended settings and turn off things that are obviously very hardware intensive, such as ultra-quality textures, and ray-tracing.

Increasing Warzone Performance by Editing the “adv_options.ini” File

After that, the most common reason for poor performance in Warzone is the underutilization of all core processors. Here’s how to fix it in Warzone by editing the .ini file:

  1. Open the “My Documents” folder in your Windows OS, and find the “Warzone” folder.
  2. Go to the “Players” folder.
  3. Locate the “adv_options.ini” file and open it in Notepad.
  4. Find the line “RenderWorkerCount” and type in the correct number of your processor cores (consult your processor manual or look it up online).
  5. Find the line “VideoMemoryScale” and change the value next to it to .75.
  6. Save the .ini file and launch the game

Hopefully, you will see an improvement in the frame rate.

Boosting the FPS in Warzone with DLSS

If you have an NVIDIA graphics card that supports DLSS, you can use this solution to increase the FPS in the game. DLSS uses some ingenious upscaling methods to render the game at the lower resolution, making the FPS go up, but outputting the image that looks almost like the much more hardware-expensive higher resolution. To enable it:

  1. In Call of Duty Warzone, go to “Options.”
  2. Select “Graphics” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Navigate to the Post-Processing Effects section and find the part about NVIDIA DLSS.
  4. Here you can customize your DLSS experience as you prefer.

Now you know some of the simple ways to quickly get an FPS boost in Call of Duty Warzone. If, despite these solutions, your FPS is still not at a satisfactory level, maybe it’s time for a hardware upgrade.
