What is the Travis-Rilea Error in MW2?
While Travis-Rilea may be a confusing name on its own, the cause of this error code is quite simple. It will show up whenever there’s an issue with the connection between your system and the game’s servers. This could happen possibly because of the servers running into issues, or because your internet connection isn’t holding up.

Upon seeing this code, the first thing that should be done is to head over to the social media channels for Call of Duty, Infinity Ward, and any applicable support places. If there’s an issue on the team’s end, they’ll likely have posted about it. If they have, the only solution is to wait until they post again, saying the issues have subsided.
If there isn’t a post, though, it likely means it’s an issue related to your network connection and you’ll need to do some troubleshooting. To kick things off, give your system a quick restart to see if it booted up poorly or something like that.
