Fortunately, you won’t have to hunt too hard. Especially if you’ve already trounced the Streaming Gym Leader of Levincia City.

Here’s how to find the elemental stone you need.

How to Get a Fire Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Fire Stones are evolution items that, in previous games, were difficult to find or expensive to purchase. Who doesn’t remember having to wait until you reached Celadon City and its luxurious department store before you could even think about evolving your Vulpix or Growlithe?

But Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have made it much easier to obtain. Like many items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, evolution stones can be found on the ground, usually in a biome associated with their element. Fire stones are extremely common in the mining area just North of Levincia City, in East Province Area Three. Just look around for the bright sparkles scattered across the ground and there’s a good chance one of them will be the stone you’re looking for.

But if that sounds a little tedious, you can always purchase one.

Some evolution stones (most importantly, Fire) become available through Delibird Presents and cost 3,000 LP or Pokémon Dollars. This chain of shops is available in three major cities: Mesagoza, Cascafarra, and Levincia. But stones will only begin appearing amongst the merchandise when you’ve defeated three Gym leaders.

But if that sounds a little steep for you, you can always fill up your Pokedex and get a Fire Stone as a reward from Professor Jacq in the Biology Lab of your school. You’ll just need to have 60 volumes of a possible 40 to claim it!

Good luck finding that stone, Trainer!
