Having powerful gear in Diablo 4 is one of the most important parts of surviving the mid- and late-game. After all, what use is good equipment if you don’t dump a bunch of expensive and rare resources into it to boost your stats? If you want that final upgrade for your amulet or ring, you’ll need some Abstruse Sigils. Getting your hands on this, though, is an entirely different challenge. If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover how to get Abstruse Sigil in Diablo 4.
Where to Get Abstruse Sigil in Diablo 4
To get Abstruse Sigils in Diablo 4, you’ll have to salvage Legendary jewelry at a blacksmith. Any legendary or orange-grade rings and amulets will work, but make sure they’re this tier or higher. Common and rare ones won’t work!
However, you’re not guaranteed to get Abstruse Sigils for every legendary jewelry you salvage. To put it into perspective, I got an Abstruse Sigil on the first legendary ring I salvaged during the March beta weeks. Now, even after a few of these, RNG hasn’t blessed me. At the very least, my wacky luck during the beta proved that, yes, it is possible to get this resource pretty quickly if you’ve got a few spare legendary rings or amulets.

What Are Abstruse Sigils Used For in Diablo 4?
The main use for Abstruse Sigils is to upgrade legendary jewelry! While the first three upgrades only require iron chunks, silver, and Veiled Crystals, the fourth and final upgrade requires Abstruse Sigils. If you want to buff your jewelry, head to any Jeweler and enter the “upgrade jewelry” tab before placing your ring or amulet in the top slot!
Oh, and don’t worry if you ever run out of Veiled Crystals in Diablo 4 and want to learn how to get more. We’ve got you covered there, too.
