Before you can accomplish this, though, you’ll have to get your hands on some ashes and plant them. How to Get and Plant Ashes in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Let’s take a few steps back for a second. If you are following along with the Circle of Life quest, you may be at the point where you either have to find old bones or already have them. If you still need to get the old bones, you’ll have to head into Vitalys Mines and follow Mother Gothel’s route until you find them on the ground. Once you have the old bones and talk to Scar, he’ll tell you about a Volcanic Geyser in his cave. This geyser is the first secret to getting ashes.

Go into Scar’s cave in Sunlit Plateau’s Elephant Graveyard and look around until you find the small geyser. You’ll see it to the right of the entrance. Interact with the geyser and toss the old bones inside to get some ashes!

Once you’ve gotten your hands on the ashes, head out of the cave and plant the ashes! To do this, you’ll have to treat them like any other plant. What does this mean, exactly? Find any spot in the Sunlit Plateau, dig a hole with your shovel, and select the ashes as your “seed”. A plant will appear, which you’ll have to occasionally water until it grows into the Flower of Bones.
