Why is it that the best Aspects are always random drops? That’s the case for the Aspect of The Aftershock, but there is a way to make finding it a little easier. Here’s how to get Aspect of The Aftershock in Diablo 4.
How to Get Aspect of The Aftershock in Diablo 4
Druids are just one of those classes that are slow to bloom and then hit like a truck once you’ve really started to develop your build and abilities. And Aspects are a huge part of that. Unfortunately, the best Aspects, like Aspect of The Aftershock, aren’t easy to get. That’s because you’ll need to extract them from a Legendary weapon or armor piece to get it. And while that means you’ll be leaning on luck to find it, there are ways to improve your odds.
The Aspect of The Aftershock can be found on the following equipment types:
- One-Handed Weapon
- Two-Handed Weapon (power increased by 100%)
- Gloves
- Amulet (power increased by 50%)
- Ring
Best Method for Farming in World Tier I & II
Because it can be found on a bevy of items, that makes farming for it much easier. The best method for World Tier I and II is to farm out Events that happen throughout Sanctuary. Completing events will net your Murmuring Obols, which can be cashed in at the Purveyor of Curiosity in most major towns. While it all boils down to luck, the Purveyor can drop Legendary items, and because you can select which slot you want the drop for, you increase your odds significantly.
I highly recommend you go for Amulets, Gloves, or Rings when selecting your roll, as these are the cheapest options.

Best Method for Farming in World Tier III & IV
For World Tier III and IV, stay very aware of Helltide locations. Helltide is a random event that will strike a region of Sanctuary and stay there for one hour. By killing enemies in this area, you’ll get Aberrant Cinders, which can be traded at Helltide quests in the area. Each chest will offer a different type of equipment. If you hover a chest on the map, it will say “Protection” or “Weapon”. But if you approach it and interact with it in person, you’ll be able to see what type of armor piece it offers. The chances of getting a Legendary item from these chests are high, and it doesn’t matter if you opt for armor or a weapon. The cost is the same – 75 Aberrant Cinders.
Additionally, there are endless events during the Helltide, which will attract both your fellow players and Elite monsters. Completing the Mastery requirement for these events will also increase your odds of getting a Legendary item. And on top of that, you’ll get Murmuring Obols which you can use at the Purveyor of Curiosity.
Unfortunately, Helltides don’t occur all the time. Because of that, events and the Purveyor of Curiosity remain the most reliable way of farming aspects.
