Caliber is the premium currency in the free-to-play looter shooter The First Descendant and can be used for a variety of gameplay and cosmetic items. Here is how to get Caliber in The First Descendant.
How to Earn Caliber in The First Descendant
The First Descendant players can get Caliber by purchasing it from the store tab in the character menu. That is currently the only method on how to get the game’s premium currency.
Caliber cannot be earned in-game and must be purchased in bundles. The currency is used to buy playable Descendant characters, skins, other cosmetic items, the Battle Pass, and consumable boosts. The playable Descendants and Ultimate Descendants can also be earned in-game, though it will be a longer grind than simply buying them.
Here are all the Caliber bundles that players can get:
- 250 Caliber – $4.99
- 520 Caliber – $9.99
- 1,060 Caliber – $19.99
- 2,750 Caliber – $49.99
- 3,920 Caliber – $69.99
- 5,750 Caliber– $99.99
Does The First Descendant Battle Pass Give Caliber?
The First Descendant Battle Pass does give Caliber back for completing various tiers of it. However, the Battle Pass itself will cost 500 or 1,500 Caliber to purchase, depending on if you want the first 25 levels of the pass already unlocked.
The Battle Pass consists of 12 pages of rewards, and Caliber is in the seventh slot on each page. Completing the pass entirely will give 300 Caliber back, which means players will need to buy another Caliber bundle if they already have not purchased one of the more expensive bundles to cover multiple Battle Passes.
While there are free rewards at various tiers in the Battle Pass, Caliber cannot be earned for free through the Battle Pass. Players will have to pay for Caliber and receive some of it back by completing the pass.
