Aftermarket parts are a new feature in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that can drastically change the makeup of a weapon entirely. The JAK Heretic Carbine Kit is a weapon attachment that can make a battle rifle more viable, and here is how to get it.
How to Unlock JAK Heretic Carbine Kit in MW3
The JAK Heretic Carbine Kit is an Aftermarket weapon attachment for the MTZ-762 battle rifle. The attachment changes the battle rifle into more of an assault rifle by increasing the rate of fire, recoil control, and better mobility while sacrificing some damage and bullet velocity.
There are two requirements that must be met before players can use the JAK Heretic Carbine Kit attachment. First, players must reach level 23 with the MTZ-762 battle rifle. The gun only goes up to level 23, so you will be maxing it out before getting to try the new attachment.
Players can use the gun in multiplayer and as an insured weapon in Zombies to level it up, and using double weapon XP tokens will make the process faster. Zombies is especially great for clearing out hordes at once, and much easier with multiple Pack-a-Punch upgrades.
Once the gun has reached level 23, the second requirement is to get 25 kills while moving and aiming down the sights (ADS) with the MTZ-762. This must be done in multiplayer against real players.
This challenge can be done in just a few matches, depending on the game mode and map. The best choice is the Shipment or Rust playlists, as both are small maps that can net a lot of kills very quickly.
Completing the challenge will reward with the JAK Heretic Carbine Kit for the MTZ-762, and is in its own attachment category. Equipping it will use one of the attachment slots, and four other attachments can still be used.
