Escape from Tarkov has several amazing items from Ref that you can buy. However, some of the best items always require some Lega Medals to purchase. These Lega Medals can’t be farmed in Escape from Tarkov and you can only get them in Tarkov Arena, a different standalone game tied to the base game. It does make sense, as Ref is the main Tarkov Arena trader. Here’s a quick guide on how to get Lega Medals in Tarkov Arena and send them to your Escape from Tarkov game.
Where to Get Lega Medals in Escape from Tarkov
The only way to get Lega Medals is by playing Tarkov Arena. Look at the daily and weekly quests you get from Ref consistently. If you open Ref’s shop or his task page in Tarkov Arena, you’ll see some random daily and weekly quests with a timer and some rewards.
You can browse through each one of the quests until you see a Lega Medal as a reward. These are quite rare, roughly below 10% to find one. Since they reset daily, it becomes extremely hard to get one.
However, you can select any daily quest and click the “Replace” button near the task list. By replacing the quest, you can “reroll” these daily quests until you find one with a Lega Medal as a reward. Each replacement costs thousands of Roubles, so it doesn’t make sense to do it unless you are swimming in Roubles in Tarkov Arena.
Since you can send around 1.5 million Roubles per day from Tarkov Arena to Escape from Tarkov, you have to have upwards of 20+ million to say that these quest rerolls are worth it. Otherwise, you are better off just sending Roubles every day and buying whatever item that costs Lega Medal with Roubles on the flea market.
How to Transfer Lega Medals from Tarkov Arena to Escape from Tarkov
To transfer items from Tarkov Arena to Escape from Tarkov, you want to select the “Services” tab under Ref’s page. It’ll automatically bring up your stash along with all the Roubles, GP Coins, Tarkov Crates, and Lega Medals you have. Only Rouble transfers are limited to 1.5 million a day, and you can send everything else freely.
Once you are finished, you can click the Transfer to EFT button and pay a small fee for Ref’s services. You can switch to your Escape from Tarkov game and open your messenger. Look for Ref, and he should have the items ready for you.
