Malachite is a resource in LEGO Fortnite that is key to make a few accessories to increase health or survive in extreme temperatures. Here is where players can find Malachite and how to make Malachite Slabs to craft high-end gear in LEGO Fortnite.
How to Get Malachite in LEGO Fortnite
Malachite can be found outside in the snow biome called the Frostlands. They are mostly found near mountains and cliffsides and are piles of green ore near surrounding rocks.
Players can mine the Malachite with an Epic Pickaxe, which requires eight Obsidian Slabs and five Frostpine Rods to craft at an Epic Crafting Bench. Other pickaxes with a lower rarity than Epic will not make a dent in the Malachite piles.
Traveling in the Frostlands also comes with freezing temperatures that will harm players who stay in it for too long. Players can increase their resistance to the cold by either eating Spicy Peppers or equipping an Inner Fire Charm.
How to Get Malachite Slabs in LEGO Fortnite
Malachite Slabs can be created by depositing Malachite into the Stone Breaker station, which can be built with 20 Knotroot and 35 Marble. The Malachite Slabs are necessary for a few recipes to craft higher rarity charms. Here are all the recipes that include Malachite Slabs:
Epic Charm of Resilience | Grants bonus defense for a few seconds after taking damage | – Three Heavy Wool Threads – Five Iron Bars – Five Malachite Slabs – Five Cursed Bones |
Rare Cool-Headed Charm | Increase resistance to hot temperatures | – Three Heavy Wool Threads – Five Frost Shells – One Sand Brute Scale – Three Malachite Slabs |
Rare Hearty Totem | When full health, gain bonus health after a few seconds | – Three Heavy Wool Threads – Three Arctic Claws – Five Malachite Slabs – Three Brute Scales |
