I’ll be the first to admit that the Crimson Fleet, while an excellent faction on paper, is perhaps one of the least enticing and edgiest in the Settled Systems. Seriously, their dialogue is the absolute worst. But hey, they have a lot of genuinely cool ships, armor, and weapons to entice recruits with. One such gun is sold via a vendor at their home station. Here is how to get Pirate Legend in Starfield!

To get Pirate Legend in Starfield, you must first enlist with the Crimson Fleet and then gain access to The Key. Here, speak with Aludra, The Depot’s Crimson Fleet Weapon Vendor. She’ll sell you Pirate Legend for just under 8000 credits, making it an absolute steal for anyone who collects unique weapons in Starfield.

The downside, unfortunately, is its rare affix. The “Space-Adept” trait is perhaps one of the worst in the game, as you’ll spend far less time boarding ships than outright destroying them with your starship.

The Maelstrom, the standard version of Pirate Legend, is an early-game weapon through and through. As such, by the time you hit this point in the Crimson Fleet, chances are you have more powerful gear. As such, I would recommend Pirate Legend as little more than a collector’s item. That is unless you dump points into Ballistics and Rifle Certification to boost its damage output significantly.

The pre-installed Drum Magazine and Hair Trigger prove rather nice for those who enjoy a nice spray-and-pray build in Starfield. It’s nothing to move swiftly through a confined hallway, holding down the trigger the entire way, and mow down hordes of Spacers.
