In Enshrouded, after building your Flame Altar and setting up camp, you’ll have several objectives to branch off to, strengthening your altar as one of many paths you’ll venture down. Let’s talk about how to get resin so you can make your first sacrificial offering.
How to Find Resin Easily in Enshrouded
An easy way to find resin early on is to search for and chop down trees with orange leaves. Unlike regular trees, these are almost guaranteed to give you resin, with the exact amount dependent on their size.
You can find several in Longkeep, the camp just outside the cave you exited shortly after starting the game. As you enter the wild and explore the world, you’ll spot more that’ll give you resin.
How to Make an Axe in Enshrouded
To chop down trees, you’ll first need an axe, requiring the following resources:
- Twigs (4)
- Stone (1)
- String (1)
You’ll find stones on the ground, with twigs harvestable from nearby bushes and string crafted using plant fiber. You’ll naturally gain plant fiber as you search for twigs.
Once you have each material, look for the axe option in your crafting menu and make one to chop down some trees and gather wood logs, resin, and other resources.
