Every new season of Diablo 4 needs a common material that can be constantly collected, and in the Season of the Construct, that material is Shattered Stone. If you want to make your Seneschal companion as strong as possible, it’s time to start finding stones.
How to Farm Shattered Stone in Diablo 4 Season 3
The best way to get Shattered Stone is by killing construct enemies in Nightmare Vaults or Arcane Tremors during Season 3. Standard construct enemies will drop a low amount of the common stone material any time you kill them. If you want a higher concentration of the material, you should hunt down construct Elites, which will drop higher amounts of Shattered Stone at one time.
Just like the Blood Harvest event in Season 2, accessing the Vaults is important if you want to earn the new material. Simply exploring the world or completing more of the seasonal story won’t help you too much in collecting Shattered Stone. Your best bet to start stockpiling the lesser form of the Magic Stones is to prepare for the seasonal dungeons.
Ways to Earn Shattered Stone in Diablo 4 Season 3:
- Kill Normal and Elite Constructs in the Vaults.
- Dismantle traps in the Vaults.
- Participate in Arcane Tremors within Season 3.
Don’t forget that the new traps added to Season 3 will also provide some stone material if you can manage to dismantle them in the Vaults. Along with the Arcane Tremors, these are smaller ways to earn extra material when you don’t have constructs to hunt down.
How to Use Shattered Stone in Diablo 4
Shattered Stone can be used at any Jeweler in Sanctuary to craft new Governing Stones and Tuning Stones. These serve the same purpose as Potent Blood from the previous season, and by the end of your journey, you should have tons of Shattered Stone to pull from for more crafting. And luckily, it won’t take up any stash space.
Once you have a ton of stone saved up, you can even head to the Jeweler and open up a cache of Tuning Stones or exchange them for Obols. This is a fantastic way to level up the Seneschal or just spend what you no longer need.
If you’re short on ways to upgrade your Seneschal in general, catch up on how to get Tuning Stones and Governing Stones this season.
