Solid Snake from the Metal Gear franchise may seem like an odd fit for Fortnite, but the character has also appeared in multiple Super Smash Bros. games. This guide will show players what they need to do to unlock famous soldier in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground.
How to Get Solid Snake Outfit in Fortnite
Fortnite players can get the Solid Snake skin by purchasing the Chapter 5 Season 1 Big Bang Battle Pass and completing specific challenges. The skin was not available to unlock at the beginning of Chapter 5 Season 1, so players had to wait until Jan. 23, 2024 before it would become available to unlock.
The Solid Snake skin can be earned by completing four Page 1 challenges in the Solid Snake tab of the Battle Pass. The first page includes five challenges, and each comes with its own individual rewards. Here are the Page 1 challenges and rewards:
- Lying in Wait Loading Screen – Hide in a Cardboard Box for 10 seconds.
- Stun Knife Pickaxe – Deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters.
- Solid Profile Spray – Deal 50 damage with explosives.
- ! Emote – Deal 500 damage to opponents with assault rifles.
- ! Banner Icon – Break two security cameras or turrets.
How to Get Old Snake Outfit in Fortnite
The Old Snake outfit is an alternative skin for the Solid Snake outfit, and can be earned the same way during Chapter 5 Season 1. It is located on Page 2 in the Solid Snake tab of the Battle Pass.
The Old Snake outfit can be earned by completing Page 1 challenges and five Page 2 challenges, and each comes its own individual reward. Here are the Page 2 challenges and rewards:
- Tactical Advantage Loading Screen – Deal 2,500 damage to opponents with a weapon that has a suppressor
- Metal Gear Mk. II Back Bling – Use EMP Stealth Camo three times
- Hidden? Emoticon – Use a hiding spot in five different matches
- Slider Glider – Assist in opening Vaults or hack Train Heist chests three times
- Snake Skin Item Wrap – Damage 10 different enemy players before they damage you
All of the rewards in the Solid Snake and Old Snake pages are available to earn for Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass owners until the end of the season on March 8.
