Space is your runway, and spacesuits are your haute couture ensemble for the stars. And what’s more luxurious, and resilient, than the Starborn Spacesuit in Starfield. Here’s how to Get the Starborn Spacesuit in Starfield.
How to Get the Starborn Spacesuit Armor in Starfield
You can spend thousands of credits and endless resources meticulously upgrading your favorite spacesuit to survive every environment you come cross. And yet, it still won’t be as good as the Starborn Spacesuit.
That’s because the Starborn Spacesuit is the crème de la crème of spacesuits. It has everything you could want. But it can only be obtained in one way. By completing the game and starting a New Game+.
Minor spoilers ahead. No story spoilers!
How to Get the Starborn Astra Spacesuit in Starfield
Once you unlock New Game+, you’ll automatically have the Starborn Spacesuit Armor equipped. This is the Starborn Astra spacesuit, and it’s the first in a long line of potential Starborn Armor you can unlock. The Starborn Astra Armor, along with your new ship, the Starborn Guardian, your levels, and certain special skills, are the only thing you’ll keep in New Game+.
Fortunately, the Starborn Astra Spaesuit is exceptional, and it only gets better as it evolves. In its base form it offers the following stats:
- Phys: 149.
- Energy: 149.
- Em: 149.
- Thermal: 50.
- Airborne: 50.
- Corrosive: 50.
- Radiation: 50.
It also has the following buffs:
- O2 Filter: -25% oxygen consumption.
- Resource Hauler: Resources weigh 25% less.
- Sensor Chip: +20% accuracy while firing on the move.
- Balanced Backpack.
Yes! That’s right, you don’t even need a pack to use boost. Likewise, the suit includes a helmet. Which means that even though the Starborn Astra Spacesuit weighs 17.40 kilograms, it’s offset by the fact that you don’t have to have those pieces equipped.
But beyond that, the Starborn Armor you unlock for each subsequent New Game completion is better than the last, for up to 10 completions. The mods, however, will be random.
Here’s a gallery of all nine after Starborn Armor, in order.

Is There Better Armor Than the Starborn Spacesuit in Starfield?
The Starborn Spacesuit allows up to three effects and since the spacesuit is one piece, it is limited to around four modifiers. Normal armors will usually have more modifier slots which could top the Starborn Spacesuit. However, it is truly up to the preference of the player. Some use the Starborn Spacesuit solely as cosmetics while others upgrade, modify it and build upon it to be a better piece.
Of course, going for the Starborn Armor means you lose everything with a new game. But it’s absolutely worth it to see your Starborn Armor evolve until it reaches its peak with the Starborn Armor Venator.
