There are so many different types of building materials in Enshrouded that knowing where to get them all can feel impossible. Let’s find out how to get our hands on plenty of Tar, and what we’ll need to do to make that happen.
How To Find Tar in Enshrouded
There are a few different ways to get your hands on Tar, one being more time-consuming than the other. No matter which option you decide to go with, you’ll need to create and build a Campfire. This is one of the earliest crafting recipes that you’ll unlock in the game, so let’s get to work building one of those.
To create a Campfire, you’ll need 2 Wood Logs. Once you have them, craft a Campfire and place it anywhere in the world. Not only is this a great way to cook up some food, but it’s also a fantastic way to keep warm during cold nights. After building a campfire, there are a few options you’ll have available to you when it comes to getting tar — overcooking food, or letting the campfire extinguish to produce some.
When you sit down to make some food, you’ll have to press and hold a button to make sure that it’s cooked long enough without getting burnt. While it may be instinct to grab the food and take it off of the fire as soon as you see it’s ready, just keep holding it above the flame. If you overcook food, it’ll turn into Tar. This is going to be the fastest way possible to ensure that you have plenty of Tar. You’ll also get an extra piece or two once the campfire has been extinguished, so make sure to grab that before heading out on your journey.
Now that you’ve got plenty of sticky pieces of Tar, make sure you check out our Enshrouded section below for help finding more items, and to find out if you should play Enshrouded or Palworld on your next game night.
