The wording may have left you at a bit of a cliffhanger.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide has a lot of achievements, ranging from fairly straightforward to oddly misleading. Take our guide on the Long Bomb achievement for example, which asks you to get 5 kills with your grenade as Veteran without it bouncing. Sounds simple on paper, though requires a ton of proper setup to pull off. One slightly obscure achievement exists for the Psyker, and we’re here to assist. Here’s how to get the Cliffhanger achievement in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

How to Complete the Cliffhanger Darktide Achievement

Ripping straight from the Steam achievements page, Cliffhanger asks you to kill seven enemies in two seconds by knocking them off the ledge using your class ability, Warp Charge. This ability staggers all enemies in front of you, blasting them back and knocking them down. It, along with the Psyker’s other abilities and talents, make it an effective boss-killing class. It may lack AoE, but you’ll struggle to find a class better at it.

However, we digress. What misleads many with the Cliffhanger achievement is that you have to get all seven of these kills within a two-second window, not just groups of multiple kills in two-second windows. You may notice the Steam achievement page tracking your progress, however, this is merely the closest you’ve ever gotten rather than your current tally.

As for how you get this achievement, it’s going to require a lot of luck and some proper timing. You not only need a good spot with a ledge off into the abyss but also a horde to then spawn at that spot with enemies that are easily staggered. For this, your best bet would be the finale of Smelter Complex on the Endless Horde Special Condition.

If we’re honest, you might not want to go for this achievement solely and instead try for it while getting other Psyker achievements in the process. Going solely for it will just lead to a ton of headaches.
