The purple rarity sword, or Epic Longsword, in LEGO Fortnite is one of the best weapons to use with its high damage and great base durability. As it is a great weapon for late in the game, it will take a lot of resources to craft it. Here’s how to get the purple sword in LEGO Fortnite.
How to Craft the Purple Epic Sword in LEGO Fortnite
The Epic Longsword can be crafted with 12 Iron Bars at the Epic Crafting Table. The sword cannot be crafted until players can access the Epic version of the Crafting Table.
How to Craft Iron Bars in LEGO Fortnite
Iron Bars must be crafted at the Metal Smelter, requiring 15 Brightcores, 35 Obsidian Slabs, and three Blast Cores to create. The recipe to make Iron Bars includes two Brightcores and one Iron.
Brightcores can be found by mining them in the caves of the desert biome, Dry Valley, while Iron is found by mining in the caves of the snow biome, the Frostlands. Players should equip themselves with an Epic Pickaxe to make mining both a lot easier.
How to Unlock the Epic Longsword Recipe in LEGO Fortnite
The Epic Longsword recipe can be unlocked by upgrading the Crafting Table to Epic rarity. This is the last upgrade for the station. Here are the resources required to build and upgrade each Crafting Table.
Crafting Table | – Three Wood – Three Granite |
Uncommon Crafting Table | – Eight Plank – Three Shell |
Rare Crafting Table | – 12 Knotwood Rods – 15 Marble Slabs – Six Sand Claws – Three Sand Shells |
Epic Crafting Table | – 15 Copper Bars – 25 Obsidian Slabs – One Brute Scale |
For the Epic Crafting Table, Copper Bars can be created by smelting Brightcores and Copper in the Metal Smelter. Obsidian Slabs are created by depositing Obsidian into the Stonebreaker station. Both can be found in lava caves in the Dry Valley. The Brute Scale drops from defeating Brutes in the Grasslands biome.
