The RAM-9 is a new SMG that was added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone during Season 2. There are a few requirements before players can unlock and use it in the game, so here is how to get the RAM-9.
How to Unlock the RAM-9 in Modern Warfare 3
The RAM-9 SMG can be unlocked by completing Sector B6 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. The rewards of the Battle Pass are divided into sections arranged on a grid, where finishing one sector will give access to any other adjacent sectors it is directly touching.
The Season 2 Battle Pass begins with Sector B1 in the lower-left corner of the pass, and each sector requires five Battle Token Tier Skips to complete. Taking the shortest path to the sector means it will take 15 Battle Token Tier Skips to reach and finish Sector B6. Players can start at Sector, B1, go to the right at Sector B3, and then have access to Sector B6 where the weapon is.
It is also important to note that players do not need to purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass in order to unlock the RAM-9. The weapon is a free reward on the Battle Pass track, and all players can earn the weapon during Season 2 with no additional purchase.
Players can receive Battle Token Tier Skips by earning XP across Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer modes, the Zombies mode, or Warzone Battle Royale modes. Some events later in the season may award with additional Tier Skips, or players can purchase the BlackCell Battle Pass Bundle to instantly receive 20 Battle Token Tier Skips (25 for PlayStation owners).
