One of the best ways to improve your skills in Alan Wake 2 is to get some new weapons, including a particular weapon for Saga that packs a lot of punch. Here’s how to get the Sheriff’s Pump Shotgun in Alan Wake 2.
Where to Find the Sheriff’s Pump Shotgun in Alan Wake 2
The Sheriff’s Pump Shotgun can be found during the chapter Return 6: Scratch. As you’re exploring the police station, you’ll come across a glass display case showing a pump-action shotgun, along with a lock on the bottom corner that wants three numbers. While this seems tough to find at first, a particular clue on the desk along with a little bit of work can solve it.
On the desk, you’ll find a group of books along with a code, displaying a number for each letter. A is 1, B is 2, so on and so forth until I ends up being 9. After that, J ends up being 0, and K starts it up again at 1. If we look at the books on the desk, we can see there are three UFOs Myth and Reality books with different authors. Your goal is to use the code cipher to determine which number each of the books on the desk is showing. Given that the books are authored by the last names Quincey, Batston, and Watson, you’re looking for the numbers that correspond to Q, B, and W in that order.
If you aren’t interested in mathing it out, the code for the Sheriff’s Pump Shotgun is 723. Once you put the code into the lock, it’ll open up and you’ll be free to get your new shotgun.
