After plenty of fan requests, the Vampiric Powers from Season 2 have made a return to Diablo 4 in the Season of the Construct. Powers like Metamporphosis are always a blast to use and I’m here to help you find them once again. Here’s how to get Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 3.
Where to Get Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 3
In Diablo 4, Vampiric Powers can only drop as random Aspects on Legendary armor, weapons, and jewelry. Unlike Season 2, these powers aren’t tied to the Seasonal content and they can even be found in the Eternal Realm. But that also means you need to find these Aspects like you would with any other pieces of gear within the game. Luck will be a major part of the search, so I recommend completing Nightmare Vaults for nearly limitless Legendary Gear drops.
Each time a Legendary piece of gear drops in Diablo 4, there will be a chance for one of the size Vampiric Powers to appear as an Aspect. These aren’t available to unlock in the Codex of Power, so you want to ensure that you save a Vampiric Aspect and bring it to an Occultist. Extract the Aspect and leave it in your inventory until you can find a decent use for it. Or you can continue to search for the same powers with better stats.
When I searched for my own Vampiric Powers, I tried to farm Lord Zir in the hopes that the Season 2 Uber boss would be the best bet. However, fighting Lord Zir in Diablo 4 doesn’t seem to make a difference in the drop rate for the Vampiric Aspects. In other words, just stick to farming Nightmare Vaults and Nightmare Dungeons if you want the best chance of a decent drop. Exquisite Blood is already tough enough to farm.
The Gauntlet rewards may also give you a decent chance at some of the Diablo 4 Vampiric Aspects.
