Many new rewards have been added to Remnant 2 with the Awakened King DLC, with one particular armor set having more usefulness than you might think. Here’s how to get the Zealot armor set in Remnant 2.
Where to Find the Zealot Armor Set in Remnant 2
The Zealot armor set can be found above Nimue in her tower within the Forlorn Coast location. To reach it, make your way through the DLC’s region until you reach the Palace of the One True King. Make your way to the stairway down (spotted on your minimap), then head through the door back out to the Forlorn Coast.
Take out the Aberration at the other end of the long bridge, then head down the tower until you reach the area shown above. This will be a small camp next to all the hanging bodies, along with one body hanging from a rope with a unique armor set. Shoot the rope to free their body, then loot their corpse to get the Zealot armor set.
What Does the Zealot Armor Set Do?
The Zealot armor set is mostly unremarkable at first glance. It offers 90.4 Armor and has 37.6 Weight, landing it in the Medium category. However, there are a few other perks the set has for subsequent run-throughs of The Awakened King DLC. If you put the full set on and proceed through the Forlorn Coast to the Preacher speaking to the flock of Dran (where you normally fight the first aberration), it won’t go as it normally does. Provided you don’t shoot right away, the Preacher and his Dran won’t attack you. Instead, you can listen to his full speech and speak to him afterward, where he’ll think you’re a Dran who believes in his sermon. From there, he’ll gift you the Band of the Fanatic Ring, which increases Staus Effect Damage by 25% and reduces Status Effect Duration by 65%.
Alongside that interaction, you can speak with the Bridge Warden next to the Mournful Promenade checkpoint to get the Bridge Warden’s Crest ring. This will give you Melee Damage or Damage Reduction depending on if you did a Perfect Dodge or Perfect Evade Flop respectively. If you run into the bug that I did where he immediately attacks you despite wearing the Zealot outfit, then you’ll need to find some way to get the Shrouded buff and slowly walk up to him, then speed through the conversation. The way I did it was to use the Hunter’s Shroud skill for the Hunter Archetype, but there are other ways to get the Shrouded buff.
